Photoshop Homework #2 - Images

Image
Kirby Jenner's image above, I believe would be the hardest to Photoshop myself into. The faces are halved and positioned in a certain way that would make it difficult. Average Joe's image above reminds me of an action scene. I wish to do an action scene for the somewhere project; an action scene from a movie like Star Wars. The photo has a lot of action going on and I want to make something like it. James Fridman's image above is funny. The image is funny and it reminds me of cursed images. The photo lines up with modern meme culture and humor. The illusions in the above photo is a Star Wars scene. I want to recreate a Star Wars scene probably for the upcoming project.

Photoshop - Tag Brush Art

Raddmoses Crown Symbol   In third grade,  I created an imaginary world filled with dragons and other anthropomorphic beings as a coping mechanism for being bullied at school.  This world has the main faction (the Raddmoses Kingdom) face off against other factions (Confederate Union, Dark Union, The Federation, Dragon Claw, and the Army’s of Gorgola) while also following the story of Iyon and Zouann (the 2 main characters).  Each character is based on a person, emotion, or item from my life.  In sixth grade, I started to put my imaginary world on paper and started writing my book called War of Dragons.  War of Dragons is a Sci-Fi fantasy story about dragons with elemental powers who take down enemies. During the Raddmoses Civil War, Loyalists and loyalist militias would tag the walls of buildings on Confederate Union planets with the War of Dragons Kingdom Seal.  Raddmoses Crown Symbol is the Kingdom seal, the seal for the crown of Raddmoses and a varia...

Photoshop Homework #1 - Tutorial Videos

Adobe Photoshop is an image editing application used by professional photographers and designers. Adobe Photoshop allows you to create images, modify images by adding text and effects to images, crop images, and retouch images. Adobe Photoshop is very expensive and comes with a lot of tools, which can be overwhelming to a beginner. Here are three tutorials that you may find beneficial as a beginner to Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop: Basics for Beginners The tutorial is called Basics for Beginners. The tutorial is approximately 35 minutes. The tutorial is well organized and it explains how to use Photoshop. I like that it provides chapters. For a quick tutorial, it may be a little long. Overall I believe the shadow point tool to be the most difficult one to use for me. The lasso tool may be a simpler one as I have used Photoshop in the past. Adobe Photoshop Tutorial: Every Tool in the Toolbar Explained and Demonstrated I found the title of this tutorial very interesting. The tutorial is the...

Illustrator Homework #2 - AI Text and Shapes

Image
The Dragons Growing up I have been fascinated with dragons. The Dragons was created using Adobe Illustrator and contains images of different dragon names. I used Illustrator to experiment with text and shapes. I added the word dragon to explain what is being shown. I included 4 species of dragons. Wyvern - Two legged winged dragons. Wurms - Serpent Dragons that have no arms, legs or wings Seawing - an aquatic dragon from a book series called Wings of Fire Raddmoses - a planet and race of dragons in my story War of Dragons  Iyon- Main character from my story War of Dragons. I also included the name Darcladis as it looked cool. Darcladis is one of the main villains in my story War of Dragons. Darcladis is a very unstable and evil dragon.

Calligram

Calligram   The calligram I created is the symbol of The Raddmoses Kingdom from War of Dragons. In third grade, I created an imaginary world filled with dragons and other anthropomorphic beings as a coping mechanism for being bullied at school. This world has the main faction (the Raddmoses Kingdom) face off against other factions (Confederate Union, The Federation, Dragon Claw, and the Army's of Gorgola) while also following the story of Iyon and Zouann (the 2 main characters). Each character is based on a person, emotion, or item from my life. In sixth grade, I started to put my imaginary world on paper, and started writing my book called War of Dragons. War of Dragons is a Sci-Fi fantasy story about dragons with elemental powers who take down enemies; which I hope to be the next Star Wars. In high school, I started to bring War of Dragons to the screen through my Multimedia classes. My dream is to become a movie director and make War of Dragons a movie for all to enjoy. I experi...

Illustrator Homework #1 - Tutorials

Adobe Illustrator is a software program used by artists and graphic designers to create graphics. It has digital drawing tools for creating illustrations, icons, and other artwork. Below are some tutorials I have found helpful in learning Adobe Illustrator. I spent at an hour and a half interacting with the various tutorials to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator. Tutorial: Illustrator CC Tutorials https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAzoaP1N9ug\ The Illustrator CC Tutorial is very helpful in introducing Illustrator. The tutorial tells you how to set up everything and how to start. The tutorial explains how to use tools such as the line tool to create images. Overall I feel like this tutorial gave me a better understanding of Illustrator. From my perspective, the keyboard shortcuts for the various tools would be hard to remember. I would use Illustrator to create logos for stories and create character models. Tutorial: How to Use the Basic Tools in Adobe Illustrator https://www.youtube.com/...

Canvas HTML5 Project

Image
Blue Hued Car Blue Hued Car is an art graphic image containing various shapes (rectangles, circles, lines, and octagon) including three Bezier curves and two Quadratic curves. I used Dreamweaver and the HTML5 canvas component as the medium to create Blue Hued Car. Dreamweaver is a software tool and the canvas component provides an easy way to draw graphics on a web page. I wanted to learn how to use the HTML5 canvas component as a medium and create an abstract art piece. I am a fan of Dada; mostly because it had it's origins during World War I. Dada is an abstract art form where the premise is to create "anti-art"; meaning it is not considered art according to traditional standards. In the spirit of Dada, originally, I was going to create 10 simple shapes; see Sketch #1.  Sketch #1 However, I felt Sketch #1 would not be challenging enough for me to learn the canvas component. In a conversation I was having with my mom, a computer engineer where she was explaining to me ...
